Looking for a new brunch hangout that serves creative and tasty dishes? Then look no further than Tipsy Parson. Located in Chelsea, steps from the Highline Park, it’s a staple for the locals and worth the trip for this Upper East Sider.
Tipsy Parson, named for a boozy dessert, is famous for its “belly filling goodness” of decadent southern cuisine. I highly recommend The Farmstand with fresh market vegetables, Pig in a Poke for their famous grits, and the delicate Mushroom Toast.
One of the perks of brunch in NYC is that it’s never too early for a cocktail and their Peach Bellini and Smoky Bloody Mary’s are to die for. If you only need a pick-me-up you’re in for a real treat with their delicious Stumptown coffee.
No matter how crowded it can be it doesn’t take away from it’s charming homey decor. However, due to its location and popularity expect a bit of a wait. Reservations available for large parties.
