Beauty Products We Love

Spring cleaning goes way beyond your closet; it is also the time to tackle your makeup bag!  When it’s cold we pack on the heavy duty makeup, wear darker palettes, and try to fight dry skin.  Now that we’re in spring, we need to take a completely different approach when it comes to everyday skincare and makeup trends.  I don’t know about you, but I went through my makeup bag over the weekend and found at least eight dark berry lipstick shades.  As much as I love wine stained lips and smokey eyes, I am beyond ready for  softer, lighter colors.  First things first when switching beauty seasons, is to clean all of your brushes, throw away old eye products, and finally, figure out what your spring style will be, then prefect it.  Important things to keep in mind is that in the summer, less is more.  Any NYC-er knows that you sweat off your makeup before you even reach the subway station.  All of our favorite beauty products for spring will help beat the heat, protect your skin, and help keep it clean and beautiful!  Share with us, in the comments below, which beauty products you’re loving for spring!

  1. Love that Kiehl’s shampoo! Another (cheapish?) suggestion I’ve loved – any of the moisturizing hair products by The Body Shop! That company has stepped its game up. I also love that eyeshadow palette – you don’t have to be sparkly to be springtimey! 🙂

  2. It’s been forever since I was at a Body Shop I used to love their shampoo and facial treatments. I need to check them out if they’ve upped their game. The color palette is beautiful and very springy so happy I found it after my Chanel (similar colors) palette was discontinued!
