May/June 2014 Calendar for Free Summer Movies in NYC

photo

Who doesn’t love going to the movies?  Once we celebrate Memorial Day, summer begins in NYC.  This means my favorite summertime activity is back: free outdoor movies!   Parks all over Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens will begin playing a series of films to the public free of charge.  The films selected are a mix of 80’s/90’s favorites, classic black and whites, and recent blockbuster hits. Below is the Calendar of films featuring in June.  Events start this weekend with Top Gun on the Intrepid (Friday May 23rd at 7:30pm).  Can you think of any better way to enjoy Memorial Weekend?
