September is one of my favorite months but it’s not an easy one to transition into. After a summer of relaxing by the pool, taking off work for longer weekends, and enjoying the outdoors, it is harsh to see it all slip away. Now that Labor Day has come and gone, it is time to get back to the daily grind. It is easy to get depressed when summer is over but there are so many exciting things yet to come! I will be very busy this September. For starters, one of my best friends is getting married this Friday so I am heading to the Poconos to celebrate with friends. Once the wedding festivities are over, I am back in the city and will dive head first into New York Fashion Week. Can you believe that it begins this week? It is an exhilarating time to live in New York and work in fashion. Check in with the blog to see my recaps and thoughts from the Spring/Summer 2015 collections. Once NYFW is over, the craziness will only have just begun. In just three weeks, my husband and I will be celebrating a belated honeymoon with a first year anniversary trip to London and Paris. There is a lot to do to prepare for my 10-day trip including shopping. I went on a shopping fast during the month of August so now my credit card is in major need of some exercise. This week I will share with you the realistic and not so realistic items I am coveting for fall. Because of my trip, I will be a little MIA in September, but I am excited to share with you all of the details. On a different note, one of my favorite weekend pastimes is back – football Sundays! Even though I am a huge 49ers fan, I just love watching the sport and socializing with my fellow football loving friends. Fashion, football, and crisp cool days are why I love September.
