Day to Night Office Holiday Party Outfit

Today, I’d like to take a break from the holiday gift guides I have been making for you.  Instead, I wanted talk about something very important: what you should wear to your holiday work party.  Unless you work for Ebenezer Scrooge, most likely your office is hosting a party for you and it is absolutely necessary that you attend.  The question is, what to wear?  When it comes to a work party have to keep in mind your office dress code.  What is appropriate to wear to work changes depending on your job.  I have always felt that you should take whatever you usually wear to work and elevate it.  You don’t want to show too much skin or be uncomfortable in any way.  However, it is also a time to have some fun and show your coworkers what else you have in your closet.  A lot of you have to go straight from work to your party.  You definitely don’t want to wear your party outfit all day long. I have found a way for you to be professional by day and festive by night.  Just store the stuff under your desk;  you won’t need it till later.  Back in the day when I had an office to go to, I used to always store extra shoes under my desk because you never know when you’ll need a pair of heels for an impromptu client meeting.  The main piece in these outfits is the lace midi skirt.  I believe that this lace skirt offers a romantic take on the typical business pencil skirt.  I hope this post inspires you for your upcoming party.  Share with me what you end up wearing.  I can’t wait to see!
